Why talk about race’ workshop

CTS offer a workshop which seeks to develop individualised understanding about our own relationship with race and racial identity. By exploring and challenging our own prejudices and bias’s concerning race, attendees are offered a chance to ask themselves and each other uncomfortable questions in a safe and structured space.

Duration: 2 day workshop

 

Who is it for: Suitable for all backgrounds, organisations and starts from 16+

Change the Story BAME workshop

CTS offer a workshop for BAME males currently or previously involved in the criminal justice system. This therapeutic based programme seeks to empower and inspire attendees through the engagement with their own individual life stories so far. Through the exploration of self – identity, mental and physical wellbeing, decision making, and social structures, attendees are encouraged to re – write their stories setting clear and achievable goals for the future. Additional services are offered to attendees to support them on their journeys.

Duration: Our courses are available as 4-week in-depth programmes or as 4-day light-touch interventions. If there is something else you need, please get in touch to arrange a bespoke offer.

 

Who is it for: Adult BAME males in custody or under the supervision of probation.

This workshop is aimed at young people currently or previously involved in the criminal justice system. Mentorship

 

CTS offer a personalised mentorship programme providing a wide range of peer support to all age groups. All mentors are experienced and matched according the need of the mentee.

CTS is passionate about effective mentorship. Our desire is to help young people make positive decisions, form their own values, and realise their own individual potential. With transformative intervention being at the heart of CTS services, our Youth Division support the delivery of personalised mentorship objectives specific to the need of the organisation. Such organisations include Charities, Prison and Youth Services, Pupil Referral Units (PRU’s) and Social Services.

Referrals

 

The CTS family work to support and promote other neighbouring services. To achieve this, CTS act as a referral service housing home grown, innovative, unconventional intervention services. Our vision is to be the UK’s leading provision and training provider, specialising in transformative and meaningful intervention targeted at underrepresented groups that exist within our society.
